You may have enabled 2-step verification of Google Account.
If so, you need an App password to send the mail.

The feature is in the plan. We may bring it into TB in few months.

You should create a WinPE emergency disk in this case. I believe it's the error info which misled you. We will improve on the description in the future. When cloning a drive, sometimes it needs to reboot into PreOS to finish the job. Since you haven't create a TB WinPE iso, and TB Linux Recovery env...

It should be a 'Sector Size' problem. Now backup and recover (or clone) between two disks with different sector size is not supported. A new disk with same brand and model would be the best. We have improved the performance of Check image. And we will also consider to add 'Check image' to After backup behavior.
I believe you will see it in next 2 or 3 updates. And now we are trying to fix problems in our product for better reliability.

Now only some basic info are included in logs, it had not updated in version 9. We have planned to improve it in the next few months.

Can you tell me more about the requirement? What is your most concerned in logs?

That's a good idea, though I don't know if it is possible. We will do some research and see.
Anyway, we are planning to add more triggers into backup schedule, for those who have different requirements.

File exclusion has been added in v8.0. If you paid in 1 year, you should have got the proper version which you could exclude the files you don't need.

There's an issue in old version and in some case the partition will not be aligned correctly. Please update to v8.9 to do recovery when needed.
