Drive Letter Issue

Postby webjeff » Sat Jun 27, 2009 2:36 am

Hello,

I am doing a Disk Copy. I basically am trying to clone my hard drive because its starting to fail. However, the application is setting up my new Disk for drive letters (A: & B:) where originally they were (C: & D:). Can you tell me if I can change this later or how do I make a clone with the same letters? Because its a system drive, I can't change the drive letter.

Thanks
Jeff

Dear Jeff,

We are sorry to tell you that our product cannot help you make a clone with the same letters. You also cannot change the system partition’s drive letter.
We should tell you that if your source disk fails to start, the copied disk also cannot start normally. Why you need to clone this disk?
Could you please tell us more information about your hard drive? Maybe we can help you repair it. We will do our best to help you.
