I like very much your program EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard Professional. It's amazing!!! I recovered I think everything on a damaged, originally NTFS, but made in some mysterious way a FAT12 hard disk.
But I have a problem. I hope you can help me. After the scanning process the program gave me all the recovered files. But files that are named in Russian language are not shown correctly, e.g. if the original file name was supposedly "тестовый.docx", the recovered version of that file became "______.docx". Is it possible to repair, to get rid of that problem?
I'll give you the info about my computer:
My operating system is Windows XP Media Center 2005 SP2 English.
My program version of EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard Professional 4.3.6 English.
Maybe the problem is because the program is in English language instead of Russian. Can it be because of that?
Or maybe because in the settings of Windows I didn't select Russian language as a non-Unicode main language.
Thank you very much!!! |

Dear temir,
Thank you for using our program.
Please do not write anything new to the hard disk which contains the lost files.
Please save the recovered files to another disk.
Yes, we think the problem is because the settings of Windows. We suggest you select Russian language as a non-Unicode main language to try. (Control Panel-Regional and Language Options)
Can you open the recovered "______.docx" file normally?
If you can, we suggest you change the file name to the original file name manually.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
If you change the settings and it does not work, please tell us the following information.
1. How did you lose your data? Deleted, formatted, or others?
2. How many partitions did you have? Which is the partition you want to recover data from?
3. What is the file system of the partition you want to recover data from, is it FAT12?
4. Can you access each partition after data loss? Is there any partition lost?
5. Have you done (use the computer, make some changes) anything on your original hard disk (which contains the lost data) after you lost your files? Where did you install our program in? Where did you save the recovered files?
6. What is the file type of your lost files? Is it only ‘docx’ file?
7. How did you operate our program step by step, could you describe it specifically?
Thank you for your cooperation.
As always, we recommend you to backup your system and disk with our Free Backup software - EASEUS Todo Backup (http://www.todo-backup.com).
