Portable Version

Postby chrisaroz » Wed Dec 23, 2009 9:30 pm

I know this comes up with just about every new system utility nowadays, but is there a way to install this on a flash drive, or better yet a full-blown portable version available?

Great product, thank you!

Dear chrisaroz,

Yes, you can install Todo Backup in flash drive, it will function the same as it run from hard disk. Also, you can make a USB bootable media, here is how:
- Create bootable disk from the iso file (C:\Program Files (x86)\EASEUS\EASEUS Todo Backup\bin\image.iso) with unetbootin (http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/)
- Copy menu.lst (see attachment) in the USB drive at \boot\grub
- Copy grldr at the root of the USB Drive
