What does partition copy mean?

Postby rance » Mon Feb 23, 2009 4:26 pm

I saw there is partition & disk copy on this software, I can not understand it clearly, what does it mean?

And another question, when should I use this feature?

backup your disk/partition before the actual operation for fear of the data loss.

In my point of view, Partition/disk copy is to copy one partition/disk to another. It is important for us to upgrade a new hard disk to another or perhaps replacing an older disk that is in the process of failing.

Dear Rance,

Thanks for your interest in our product.
You can copy a partition/disk to another partition or hard disk with the two functions. You may refer to this:
http://www.partition-tool.com/easeus-pa ... k-copy.htm
http://www.partition-tool.com/easeus-pa ... n-copy.htm
You can use these functions when you want to backup a partition/disk. When you want to copy the current OS from current disk to another disk, you can use 'Copy Disk Wizard'.

Note: If you want to use the destination disk to boot up your OS after copy, please use the 'Copy Disk Wizard' module.
If you have further questions, please feel free to contact us.

Yep!
I guess it's better to use the Copy Partition/Disk functions built in this EASEUS Partition Manager to back bata before resizing the partition/disk.
